Sibility Initiative

We collect, study, and promote evidence-based practices that prevent violence and help people overcome it.

Anatoly Kay — a mathematician, financier, and computer scientist — founded the initiative. After 20 years in fintech, Anatoly reached a turning point: in a world full of violence, he could no longer stand by. It was time to expand his impact work.

Who
we are

Sibility Initiative

Sibility Initiative is a team of experts working in hope to make the world less violent and more sibil.

Our team includes anthropologists, sociologists, educators, and team development experts, alongside experts in communications, finance, and impact.

Why

Why we do it

Over the next ten years, we aim to make violence prevention more evidence-based. We aim to give violence-prevention practitioners access to a wide range of tools and methods proven effective.

Anyone interested will have reliable, practical knowledge needed to recognize and prevent the escalation of violence — in themselves as well as in those around them.

What

What we do

Our efforts go in three directions:

Sibility Delta

Delta

Sibility Delta validates data, measures the positive change that violence prevention methods bring, and finds out which issues surrounding the subject of violence concern people most. It examines existing frameworks, methodologies, and cases, and supports violence-prevention studies to discover which ones work.

Sibility Source

Source

Sibility Source collects the best violence prevention practices developed by NGOs and helps fellow professionals adapt and apply them in their own context. Together with Delta, it selects the most promising ones and partners with their authors to create courses for other NGOs. It then supports those NGOs with follow-up grants and mentorship as they put the practices into use.

Sibility Current

Current

Sibility Current runs The Sibilist — a multi-media publication that spreads the idea of sibility to a wide audience. It creates engaging, network-specific content, hosts moderated discussions, curates audience posts, and builds an active community — as well as making findings made by Delta and Source known to the wider audience.

For

Who is it for
  • For violence-prevention practitioners who can now know which practices are evidence-based.
  • For violence-prevention practitioners who develop new methods, so they have the tools and support to measure their work's impact and teach proven methods for others.
  • For researchers, so that they can connect with practitioners and study real-world practice.
  • For every person, so they can recognize escalation in themselves and those they influence, and use proven practices to interrupt it.

How

How we do it

Everything we do runs on private donations. Behind Sibility Initiative stand ordinary people – no government, no corporations, no big foundations. That's why anyone can join in and help sibility grow.

If we can make even one life less violent, it's all worth it.

2027

Coming in 2027

Our launch is in January 2027. That's when we'll share the details of our activities – in depth. In the first year, we will work with the European countries, and we'll work in English.

And later — Godspeed!
